Eleven Essentials For Communicators
19 May 2014

A communicator is a person who communicates, esp. one skilled at conveying information, ideas, or policy to the public. In most organizations, this falls into the realm of marketers, who are responsible for colours, logos, images and copy. But, I would argue that everyone can be and should be an effective communicator. A great idea poorly communicated will die; so will a bad idea effectively communicated.
To be an effective communicator, you need to know who you are talking to, why they care and then combine creativity, storytelling, technical proficiency and data analytics. Here’s a presentation I gave at a “PR Media Bootcamp” that brings it all together … “Eleven Essentials For Communicators.” Enjoy!
